Gemeinsam mit unserer FUNKE-Schwester cleverdigital haben wir den Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR) erneut als Kunden gewonnen: Im Rahmen des Projekts „geSCHICHTEN Rheinisches Revier“ wird ein Design Guide und eine Website entwickelt, um kulturell engagierte Akteur*innen in der Rheinischen Region zu vernetzen. Diese Plattform soll als partizipatives Projekt dienen.
Während C/O RED die Kundenbetreuung und den kreativen Part des Corporate- und Web-Designs übernommen hat, wird die Umsetzung dessen von cleverdigital im CMS komplettiert.
Das Rheinische Revier, gelegen zwischen Köln, Aachen, Mönchengladbach und Zülpich, wurde seit Jahrhunderten von Braunkohletagebau geprägt. Der damit einhergehende Strukturwandel hat nicht nur die Kulturlandschaft, sondern auch Arbeitswelten, soziale Strukturen, Politik und gesellschaftliche Diskurse verändert. Mit dem beschleunigten Ausstieg aus der Kohleförderung und -verstromung und der aktuellen weltpolitischen Lage sind die Menschen der Region in ihren Lebenszusammenhängen und Zukunftsplanungen existenziell betroffen.
Das interdisziplinäre Projekt „geSCHICHTEN Rheinisches Revier“ betrachtet den Strukturwandel als kulturelle Herausforderung und zeigt, dass die Geschichte der Region nicht einer einzigen Meistererzählung, sondern vielen Handlungssträngen und Perspektiven folgt. Der Landschaftsverband Rheinland hat sich mit einstimmigem Beschluss vom 16. Dezember 2019 zu diesem Projekt bekannt und möchte seine Kompetenzen in Bezug auf Industriekultur, Erinnerungskultur, Archäologie und Kulturerbe einbringen
